=========

Sacramento, California (PRWEB) February 25, 2013 — Inspired by the popular “The Vagina Monologues”, and the book, “In Search of Deafhood”, by Paddy Ladd, this is an episodic play based on true stories from Deaf people collected over the years.

Created by Ella Mae Lentz, co-author of “Signing Naturally”, and owner, ASL Presents. Directed by JAC Cook, a nationally renown actress and performer, who directs this production for the third time, a first for the Sacramento Region. JAC is an education consultant for the world class educational institution, California School for the Deaf based in Fremont. The Sacramento show kicks off a potential nationwide series of shows to raise funds for the Deafhood Foundation.

Show is on March 2, 2013, one day only! Showtime schedule is one matinee performance at 3:00PM, and an evening performance starting at 7:30PM.  This fantastic play is acted by individuals who are Deaf using American Sign Language, with English Voice Overs by local actors experienced with interpreting theatrical productions.
