Just worrying about being stressed can make you ill, reports Hypnotension

=========

London, UK (PRWEB UK) 29 June 2013 – Hypnotension reports news of new research published this week showing that stress can raise the possibility of a person having a heart attack by 50% and people who think stress is damaging their health are most at risk. Simply having a negative perception of stress more than doubles the chance of a heart attack.

The study revealed that just thinking about being stressed can make you seriously ill. It almost doubles the risk of suffering a heart attack.

This is the first time a link has been discovered between heart disease and peoples own views on how stress is affecting their health. Hypnotension has known for many years that stress has a profound effect on high blood pressure, one of the major causes of heart disease, and why as part of their programme they work specifically on reducing perception and levels of stress.

Paul Howard, co-creator of the Hypnotension programme, said “This research is very interesting as it validates our belief that perception of their ability to handle stress can be as important as the stress itself. Hypnotension shows the client how to handle stress more effectively and these techniques can change a client’s ability to handle stress for the rest of their life.”

The research highlights that doctors should take a patients’ viewpoint into account when dealing with stress-related problems.

The study followed more than 7,000 civil servants over a period of up to 18 years. Participants, who had an average age of 49.5, were asked to what extent they felt day-to-day stress had affected their health.

They were also asked about lifestyle factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, diet and exercise, and their medical background was taken into account. All of these factors are tackled as part of the Hypnotension programme as Hypnotension recognises that these are known causes for high blood pressure.

Hypnotension continues to support, train and register qualified hypnotherapists across the globe in a successful protocol that helps people reduce high blood pressure naturally.

The Hypnotension™ programme is a one-to-one therapy delivered by a qualified hypnotherapist. They have the skills needed to help people make the behavioural, motivational and emotional changes needed to tackle high blood pressure.

The Hypnotension practitioner looks at a variety of lifestyle factors to establish which is likely to be causing or maintaining high blood (Hypertension). These lifestyle factors are then targeted using specific cognitive and hypnotherapeutic techniques to help reduce the client’s blood pressure towards more normal levels.

Certified Hypnotension practitioners are all fully qualified and insured hypnotherapy or NLP professionals, who meet the occupational standards for their country.

The Hypnotension programme is a hypnotherapy cpd course recognised by leading Hypnotherapy Professional Associations worldwide. Hypnotension already has hundreds of specially trained practitioners around the globe, with more taking the training every day.
