Can the American image be salvaged – Al-Ahram Weekly
Egyptian American relations on the official level have seen worse times than these tense moments. But it is on the public level that The American image in now seeing its worse. For the Obama administration to start dealing with this heavy task, it has first to stop being on the wrong side of history trying to put together the broken pieces of a political regime that has expired, rather than salvage its own image, and hence its interests, with the people of the Arab World’s most populous, most influential and most important country.
