Iran, Russia sign MoU to advance cultural cooperation
Moscow, Sept 2, IRNA – Iran and Russia on Wednesday signed Memorandum of Understanding on organizing cultural exhibits with an aim to facilitate cultural cooperation.
Managing Director of Iran’s Cultural Exhibitions Institute Amir Masoud Shahramnia and Head of Moscow International Book Fair Sergey Kaikin signed the MoU.
According to the MoU the two countries undertook to provide necessary and reciprocal services for presence of publishers and cultural and art groups in exhibits.
Moscow International Book Fair ( MIBF) was inaugurated on Wednesday in presence of Russian Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin and Iran’s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati.
In the 5-day exhibition, special programs will be displayed in Iran’s pavilion. Some 16 publishers are attending the MIBF from Iran.
