THAI Royal Orchid Holidays Organizes Buddhist Meditation Tour to Sri Lanka

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI)’s Royal Orchid Holidays will organize a Buddhist tour during 21-25 October 2015 from Bangkok to Colombo, Sri Lanka for customers interested in prayer, meditation, and sermons by Phra Maha Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi (V. Vajiramedhi).

Mrs. Busaba Sangawibha, THAI Vice President, Marketing Development and Customer Services Department, said THAI’s Royal Orchid Holidays Buddhist Meditation tour will be for five-days and three-nights, offering customers an opportunity to participate in Buddhist merit making and participate in prayer, meditation, and to hear sermons by Phra Maha Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi (V. Vajiramedhi) as well as other Buddhist monks.

This Buddhist meditation tour is open to 80 to 100 participants and will be conducted in Thai language only for the duration of the trip, 21-25 October 2015, as no English language translation is available.

On the return trip THAI will also be transporting the sapling of the Holy Bodhi Tree, which comes from the original tree under which the Lord Buddha achieved enlightenment, from Sri Lanka to Vimuttayalaya Institute in Chiang Rai, Thailand.

Customers must make a security deposit of 25,000 Baht to reserve space to attend the tour. Prices include airport tax and fuel surcharge (the fuel surcharge may change without advance notice if the Company alters the surcharge fee).
