“My only intention in making this film was to better understand the poaching crisis through the unique angle of the female lens and share what I learned with a global audience concerned about our disappearing wildlife. The work these courageous and inspirational women are accomplishing in Africa and Asia while risking their lives protecting these beautiful creatures from further extinction is astounding and inspirational. All of this attention on our film, just further amplifies their messaging and I couldn’t be more excited for them or for us!” said the film’s Director, Producer and Writer, Kerry David.
Kerry has been invited by TedX Charlottesville to speak at their annual event in November about her experience as a female Director, Producer and Writer documenting the inspirational women in “Breaking Their Silence: Women on the Frontline of the Poaching War”.
