Islamic Tourism: Lombok to host 2nd Travel Mart & ASEAN Seminar
The city of Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia has been chosen by the Ministry of Tourism, Indonesia, to host the 2nd World Islamic Tourism Mart & ASEAN Joint Seminar on Islamic Tourism from 22nd to 24th October 2015.

WITM-JOSIT is a joint collaboration between WiTM Event and the Ministry of Tourism, Indonesia. This is going to be the 2nd edition of WITM and so is JOSIT. The two day event shall feature the B2B (Buyers meet sellers). B2C (consumers travel fair) and the Conference. Majority of buyers are from ASEAN Countries plus a few from Asia Pacific countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Australia and India.
Indonesian Tourism Minister Mr Arif Yahya is expected to grace the occasion on 22 October at Lombok Raya Hotel.
This event will gather major Muslim tourism players under one roof to strike their business deals and seek new opportunities in the fast growing segment of Islamic Tourism. International media from the Asia Pacific region are being invited to cover the event.
The 1st WITM was held in Jakarta on 24-25 October 2014 in Balai Kartini, Kartika Convention Center, Jakarta.
