All schools in the ranking are members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), or eligible for membership. Each of these schools was evaluated and scored based on the continuity of the campus, architectural style, signature building(s), and natural setting. The total score from these factors was then used to rank the schools.
Anna Rebekah Orr, editor at Christian Colleges Online, states that when it comes to a student’s decision regarding which school to attend, there are a multitude of factors to consider. “At CUO we understand that not all of these factors are a matter of crunching numbers. This ranking focuses purely on location and aesthetics rather than facts and figures.” Orr points out that the natural surroundings, layout, and beauty of the campus are important factors to consider when students are making decisions about which college to attend.
