Education
Graduated in 1965 from the Defence Services Academy, Pyin Oo Lwin. Served in the Air Force, Attended a 2-year training course at the Air University, Montgomery, Alabama, USA
Graduated in 1987 with a Diploma in ACSC
Career
May 1995 Joined Ministry of Hotels and Tourism as DG of the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.
His first encounter with ASEAN was at the 6th NTOs Meeting in Singapore with his attendance as an Observer representing Myanmar NTO two weeks prior to Myanmar membership to ASEAN.
Since then, led the Myanmar delegation at all ASEAN Tourism Meetings including the Tasks Force, NTOs, NTO Plus 3+1 and the ministerial meetings covering the ASEAN Tourism Agreement, Mutual Recognition Agreement for Tourism Professionals, ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan, ASEAN Tourism Investment Guide, ASEAN Crisis Management Manual, Liberalization of Trade in Services, intra ASEAN Travel, Manpower Development and other related matters.
Participated at UN WTO, PATA, GMS, ACMECS, BIMSTEC and other regional and international events.
Retired in 2005.
2009 became CEO of Magwe FC and Chairman of KBZ FC, Advisor, Chairman and Patron of Myanmar Airways International in Myanmar.
